When & Where
Day One - Acu-Thai on the Table
Thai style acupressure on the table. Learn a set of lines & points that are essential for treating soft tissue pain and restricted movement patterns. Practice Thai massage on the table with appropriate body mechanics and thumbing technique.
Day Two & Three - Table Thai Techniques
Learn a series of Thai-style massage and stretching techniques and improve your tableside body mechanics. Use your hands, elbows, thumbs, knees and feet to release restricted movement, stretch the body and restore balance. Receiver remains clothed. No lubricant is used.
Lodging & Food
If you are travelling from out of town then we recommend arriving a day or two early or staying a day or two after the workshop to enjoy the natural beauty of this area. You'll be able to enjoy nature on the grounds of the training facility at Kula Wellness, too! There are many choices for hotels about 6 miles away in Murphy, NC. You may also choose to search AirBnB or your favorite vacation rental site for cabin or guest room rentals in the area.

The training facility is equipped with a fridge, microwave and stove if you would like to pack a lunch. There is a grocery store nearby along with a few restaurants and a sandwhich shop. Morning yoga and meditation, snacks and a light lunch are provided daily.

Deposits and early bird payments are non-refundable unless the class is cancelled by the instructor. We begin the process of creating an exceptional learning experience for you as soon as you register. (Really the process starts way before that!) “Roll over” deposits are not typically accepted and require case-by-case review. Should you choose not to fully participate in the class, no monies paid shall be refunded. Final payments can be made through the invoice that is sent to you PRIOR TO THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS. Cash or check payments are accepted should you need to bring your payment with you on the morning of the first day.
Please wait to purchase non-changeable, non-refundable airfare or lodging until you receive notification from your instructor to be sure the class meets the required student minimum. This notification will arrive 2-4 weeks prior to the start of class. Elevate MT is not responsible for fees acquired for travel expense if the course is cancelled.
