Jeffrey Elkins - Instructor & Asian Medicine Consultant

 

Jeffrey Elkins​ is a licensed Chinese medicine doctor and bodyworker since 1997. He has spent over 7 years working and studying in South Korea, Taiwan, and China. He is an experienced traveler and has traveled throughout Europe, Africa, and Asia.

 

Jeffrey started his foray into the healing arts in Thailand studying Thai massage at the Old Medicine Hospital in 1997. He furthers his studies in Thai massage with teachers in the U.S. and return trips to Thailand.

 

After graduating from the Florida School of Massage in 2004 he went on to receive his Masters of Acupuncture degree from the Academy of Five Element Acupuncture in 2007.  His bachelor's degree is in International Studies from the University of Tennessee (1994).

He is a certified teacher of Pan Gu Mystical Qigong with teacher Master Ou Wen Wei and a certified teacher of Orthodox Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan and Pan Gu Tai Chi. He has studied privately in China with Tai Chi master Fang Ning, Dimitri Mougdis and Master Chu.

 

Jeffrey is our main logistics man and and cultural liaison for our travel and study tours. He teaches acupressure, Thai massage and Qi Gong.
