WHAT IS AN ACHIEVEMENT AWARD?
Achievement awards are given to students who put in the work to properly document practice sessions and polish up their skills after taking an immersion course. After completing all seven immersion courses and achievement award requirements students will be able to demonstrate full body sequences for prone, supine and side lying positions, one-footed and two-footed techniques using the bars, gravity and tensile force to apply pressure, using the foot as a tool with touch accuracy, lubrication, draping, towels, props and tools, safe treatment room set-up, proper practitioner body mechanics, positioning and transitioning, general principles for giving a balanced and flowing ashiatsu session with a meditative state of mind AND will qualify to sign up for the Ashiatsu Intensive course that is a start on the path toward endorsement.
Upon completion of an immersion course and all outside of class requirements students will be awarded
a certificate of achievement that is suitable for framing
a shareable shout out on our graduate network and social media channels
a special gift
HOW DO I QUALIFY FOR AN ACHIEVEMENT AWARD?
You are eligible to receive one achievement award for each immersion course you complete. For each course you must
document practice sessions on the official Elevate Massage Training forms
submit a short demonstration video for feedback
take an online quiz
WHAT ARE THE SEVEN ASHIATSU IMMERSION COURSES?
The following seven table immersion courses can be taken in any order unless a specified prerequisite is listed
Seated Barefoot Bodywork
Barefoot Bar Basics
Barefoot Press & Stretch
Table Thai Acupressure (Acu - Thai)
Intermediate Ashiatsu : Side Lying + Props (prerequisite Barefoot Bar Basics)
Barefoot Fusion (prerequisite Barefoot Press & Stretch and Barefoot Bar Basics)
Advanced Ashiatsu : Two Feet & Flow (prerequisite Barefoot Bar Basics)
*Your instructor will review award requirement details with you in class. Please note that we DO offer an achievement award for the Ashiatsu Barefoot Floor Fundamentals course but it does NOT count toward the endorsement.
