To avoid confusion with the regulatory boards of the massage profession Elevate Massage Training uses the term endorsement instead of certification to describe the credential granted to licensed massage therapists who complete all the requirements of our advanced track of study.

Our endorsement program is assessment-based. This means that there are no annual fees or recertification requirements. We will teach you a set of skills then assess your proficiency through one-on-one evaluations and community interaction. Training is limited to 4 students in the class.

This training focuses on :

• logical sequences of gliding, compression and stretching techniques for the entire body

• the fundamentals of gravity-assisted bodywork 

• practitioner body mechanics and barefoot touch accuracy

• client prone, supine and sidelying postions

• therapist seated and standing for technique application

• using tools such as a hammock strap, bolsters, hot towels and heated pillows to improve session outcomes

• general principles for giving a balanced and flowing ashiatsu session with a meditative state of mind

LMTs are guided through equipment requirements and bar construction procedures throughout the training. You will begin receiving instruction on how to properly set up your treatment room and install the overhead bars as soon as you sign up for training. You will also receive a set of six custom-made eyebolts as a part of your tuition! ($150 value)

This training includes a total of 72 NCTMB approved CE credits and is MS Approved!

Investment

The total cost of the the training is $2,400 for all three trainings, 72CE credits, course manuals, one set of 6 custom eyebolts and a certificate of endorsement upon completion of all course requirements.

An initial payment of $800 is due to reserve your space in the training

Two additional payments of $800 are due on February 15th and March 31st

To earn Elevate Ashiatsu Certificate of Endorsement students must :

• complete the following three courses : Ashiatsu Sequence A, Ashiatsu Sequence B, Ashiatsu Therapeutics

• complete and document twenty (20) ninety minute (90min) ashiatsu sessions - 10 must be completed after Sequence A and 10 must be completed after Sequence B

• have a fully functional treatment room ready and available to practice in based on Elevate Massage Training guidelines for bar construction and equipment requirements

• receive and review a professiona ashiatsu session from an approved ashiatsu practitioner

• perform a 90min session on your instructor or an approved ashiatsu practitioner for feedback
